So, what is it about?

How wide is that, a web wide world? As wide as a computer screen ... well, this is a bit thin, isn't it? For sure. As thin and wide as the internet wasteland pervaded by many uncanny currents, without much substance sometimes, but forever deep as the human mind. How deep!
Then this site is about trying to understand the world and using the web to that unending end. It is about climate warming and human freezing, about global dimming and city lights: metaphorical meteorology bent on guessing the unknowable, right around.
You'll hardly ever read about my dear biases in these pages, inasmuch as I'll achieve overcoming them: A heck of a promise; I should go into politics, or journalism.
Bird on wire This website is, of course, about ... me! The smallest niche I could think of. About me, that's right; or very wrong as you'll like or dislike it.
Dear people of the web wide world I am a french man in his late fifties (as of today 2007; 'he', not me, forever young!) and of that hard fact I'll leave it to each and everyone of you to draw the sad or happy conclusion that best suits your own prejudices; as for me, I'll drop the subject until further notice.
I've read somewhere that one ought to have credentials for her or his pages to achieve trustworthiness on the world wide web. Damn it, I don't have any. So, let it be said, widely, that these pages are mad man made and the information they convey, at the very best, irrelevant. Make your choice, risk your mind, and, don't forget, take my word for it.
Anyway, as in every other website the menu is the program, or tries to be. Do it! Click your head out!

Should anyone be interested: the site runs on Joomla 1.0.15; beside static content (contact form, guestbook, site map, site intro) there is but one section, "knowledge" and ten categories, Dewey's classes. And no more headaches as to what goes where and why. One section only. More sections on two other websites in french: "Cerdagne Info" and "le village vertical"; along with an ad-server running OpenX, backup through PhpMyBackupPro.
